As the new owners of Opus, we have the distinction of retaining one of the truly great Italian chefs of Orange County. Chef Manuelo Perez has been preparing fine Italian gourmet creations since his days (circa 1970) at Matteo’s in Southern California. He carries the tradition that was famous to the famous in Newport Beach and Hollywood. He also created magnificent dinners at Bella Cuchina in Anaheim Hills, California for many years. So many of his loyal patrons have visited our restaurant to continue the tradition! We are very pleased to retain him as our head chef.
We have been a part of the Orange business community for nearly five years and have enjoyed wonderful friendships here in the heart of Orange County. Our first entrepreneurial adventure was the opening of a pizzeria right here on Chapman Avenue. It was a casual start, which encouraged us to serve our neighbors with simple hospitality in this truly relaxing and peaceful setting. Let us be your first choice in friendly neighborhood dining in an elegant yet relaxing atmosphere.
Opus also specializes in Private Party accommodations and fine catering. Let us quote your next business event, awards ceremony, or seasonal party. We will reserve our elegant dining room exclusively for your party of 20-80 guests on any weekday for luncheons or banquets. Or, if the convenience of your locale is preferred, let us professionally cater your event.
